September - December 2018 CAL: Lost Souls Skull Shawl
Skull shawl patterns are one way to present this popular motif. Perfect for Dia De Los Muertos and Halloween, this shawl was an obvious choice for the end of the year crochet-along!

July/August 2018 CAL: Amigurumi Star Wars Porg
The breakout star from the new Star Wars movie, The Last Jedi, for me anyway, was the Porg. Everyone saw them in the previews and was like “awww! Porgs!” But when Chewbacca was sitting there roasting a Porg over an open fire and that little Porg stood there pleading with him not to take a bite, how could you not fall in love with them?! So cute.
Here's the pattern for your own Porg, designed by Allison Hoffman.

2018 Crochet-along: Erigeneia Shawl
This triangular shawl is spectacular in a gradient yarn, but is also suitable for solids or stripes.
According to Crochet-along (CAL) Chair Anastasia McGee, the project takes at least 820 yards of fingering or sock weight yarn and a G or 7 crochet hool (4 or 4.5 mm). This CAL will run through June 30. If you have ideas for a CAL for the second half of the year, send Anastasia a message through Ravelry.com at am2me with a link to the pattern.
