2018 Knit-along: Learning & Loving Lace Knitting
Hello Knerdy Knitters! Here is the December KAL: The Drop Stitch Cowl. This is a fast easy pattern that you can use to make holiday gifts in no time at all. It is about a 2 evening project! You can use a Super Bulky like Malabrigo Rasta, or a Bulky like Knit Picks Wonderfluff, and both work well. The Wonderfluff is great for it's price and it's lovely light texture. Plenty of warmth and no weight!

The Venezia Glamour Shawl is a triangular shawl worked from the top down, with both center increases and increases on each side of the shawl. The bottom trim is worked with the RS facing and is joined together with the main body of the shawl by knitting the last trim stitch together with the adjacent st on the left needle, which is from the body of the shawl.

2018 Knit-along: Learning & Loving Lace Knitting
Whether you make this project as a scarf, a shawl or a wrap, you'll discover the joys of lace knitting with our 2018 Knit-along (KAL). This lovely project is designed by our very own Virginia Van Osdel and Jacinda Santiago.
This project uses any yarn from fingering to worsted that is a solid, tonal or gradient color. (Wildly variegated yarns will hide the pattern and are best avoided.) Use a needle that is one size larger than the yarn calls for.
For this section of the KAL, the stitches will be Qutrefoil Eyelet, Elfin Lace and Nobis Wrap Lace.
Have fun!
Here's the instructions for the first section.
