Today we met many great fiber enthusiast and received many more names on our email sign up list. In total we have over 100 signups from this weekend! We also had an explosion of social media followers, which was one of my goals for the weekend. Anastasia and I both took amazing classes today and we can't wait to share with the group everything we learned this weekend. We had great people manning our booth once again today and representatives from our favorite local yarn stores came by to say hi. Our lucky streak continued today as Sarah won a cool raffle prize from CocoKnits. Congrats, Sarah! As sad as we are to have Vogue Knitting Live Pasadena come to a close, we are exhausted. We learned so much and met so many crafty people who we hope can join us at our future meetings. I want to take this opportunity to thank some people who really helped to make this a great experience for our Guild. * Thank you Anastasia and Tim for helping me coordinate our booth all weekend. I could not have done it without you. *Thank you Chris, Kim, Sarah and Lydia for manning the booth and showing people how awesome Knerdy Knitters are. And thanks Sarah and Lydia for helping Tim close down the booth and pack everything up. *A huge thanks to Chris, Kim, Debbie, Sylvia, and A Major Knitwork for their support, supplying free patterns, lending us beautiful samples of finished projects, and being a good supplier of great advice. *Thank you Vogue Knitting Live for being gracious hosts and including us in a wonderful fiber arts weekend celebration. I feel that we all represented our Guild well. If peoples' excitement at our booth is any indication, we are going to be seeing many new, creative, fun, and knerdy additions to our fiber arts family. Thanks again to everyone involved, Stacie It was another great day for the Knerdy Knitters at Vogue Knitting Live today. We met many more knitters and crocheters who are interested in our awesome Guild. Stacie and Anastasia took a 6 hour Continental Knitting Immersion Class. They learned a lot, but were completely fried by the end of the day. Too much brain work!!!!! A big thanks to Sweet Babe (Tim) for literally "manning" the booth today while Stacie and Anastasia were in class. SB charmed all the ladies and showed off his amazing knitting skills. Thanks also to Chris and Kim for hanging out at the booth with Tim. It was so nice meeting and chatting with so many talented people today. Oh yeah, Stacie won a raffle prize because, you know, she's Stacie. We are looking forward to another great day tomorrow. If you can make it to Vogue Live, please come visit us. We are in Booth #117 |
