Delicate Lacy Scarf
Materials:  DK weight yarn approx. 300-350 yds., size 7-9 needle
Gauge:  4.5-5 stitches per inch in stockinette stitch

Abbreviations
K - knit
yo - yarn over
k2tog - knit two stitches together

Lace Pattern  (multiple of 2 plus 7)
Row 1 (RS) K4, *yo, k2tog; repeat from * to the last 3 stitches, K3.
Row 2 K4, purl to last 4 stitches, K4.
Row 3 K3, *k2tog, yo; repeat from * to the last 4 stitches, K4.
Row 4 K4, purl to last 4 stitches, K4.
Row 5 K4, *yo, k2tog; repeat from * to the last 3 stitches, K3.
Row 6-10 Knit
                                                                   Repeat rows 1-10 or the lace pattern.  (See below for a chart for this lace pattern.)
Scarf
Cast on 31 stitches (or any odd # of stitches to reach your own desired width).
Knit 8 rows.
Begin lace pattern. 
Work rows 1-10 of lace pattern 29 times (or until desired length minus finishing edge is reached).  Then repeat rows 1-5 once more.
Knit 8 rows. 
Bind off.
