January/February 2014 Knit-a-long

The knit-a-long this month is Knit Night Hat by Judy Marples and the pattern is available for free on Ravelry. You will need one skein of a worsted weight yarn of at least 150 yards and size 8 double pointed or circular needle for this slouchy hat.  It is a quick knit, that is done in the round from the bottom up.  This project would be a great first project to get started with the magic loop method of knitting a hat.  If you need any help getting started on this project, make sure to come to our yarn club or guild meeting, we can help you out!
