July/August 2014 Crochet-a-long

We will be making Table Runner by Lisa Hamblin.

You will need the following supplies:
Worsted Weight Cotton, linen or bamboo yarns preferred, Acrylics can be used but the result is not as nice. Wools not recommended.
Solid colors are better than variegated for this pattern.  You will need at least 600 yards. How much exactly depends on the length. (I purchased 710 yds of Bernat Handicrafter Cotton in White for this project.)

Crochet Hook Size H (if you are using worsted weight yarn. Use the appropriate size for your yarn, Size up one if you are a tight crocheter.)

The only stitches you need to know are: ch & dc. It’s very easy and you should be able to have a finished table runner very quickly.

Happy Hooking!
