Guild Chairs
Anastasia McGee, Crochet-along Chair
Rachel Decker, Charity Projects Chair
Rachel learned how to crochet from her boyfriend in college in 2002. His mother that year for Christmas gave her 10 skeins of Red Heart solids, and she was hooked. She's been crocheting off and on since then. She picked up a little more intensely when her niece was born and she began making gifts for her and her younger sister.
She moved to California in 2010 with a degree in library science and began working for a post production studio, organizing and transferring digital files. When the company moved to Canada in 2015 and laid off most of the staff, Rachel took up spinning to pass the time as she searched for work. She's fallen in love with the dyeing process as well.
