September/October 2014 Knit-a-long

For our September/October KAL, we’ll be making Owls just like the CAL.  The pattern, Owl Puffs by Jenna Kruper, is available for FREE on Ravelry.

Get out some of your leftover stash and make an owl! Worsted weight yarn will give you a bigger owl and sock weight yarn will give you a smaller owl.  The pattern shows safety eyes on the owls, but I saw that some people used buttons, absolutely adorable!

This pattern is knit in the round using double pointed needles or Magic Loop. You finish with a Kitchener Stitch. Great time to learn a new skill on these cute little owls!
