WIPs & Chains Stash Exchange 2025

Saturday, November 15th from 11 am - 3 pm
It's time again for our annual WIPs & Chains Stash Exchange.  We're holding our event on the weekend before the So Cal Fiber Fair so we can all make room and can shop freely and add to our stashes!  We'll exchange yarns, enjoy some lunch and maybe even do a little shopping! 

Go through your yarns, books, patterns, notions, WIPs and finished projects you no longer want and bring them along to share with your fellow guild members.  We display all the items on tables so everyone can look and see what's available.  We each draw a number to determine our place in line and then take turns going through and picking the things we want to take home with us. This is a great opportunity to freshen up or make room in your personal stash and get excited about new things that you don't have to pay for! 

When you are gathering your stash pleases be sure to include tags and yarn details on everything.  Ideally, the exchange is for full skeins and not just remnants from previous projects.  Also, if you have multiple skeins of the same yarn, please try and put them together in a single bag.  

Craft Fair

In addition to the Stash Exchange, we're adding something new this year.  A mini version of a Craft Fair.   Our guild members are creative in lots of different ways and many of you make things you want to sell.  We'll have a couple of tables, separated from the stash exchange,  for anyone who wants to offer some of their handmade creatives wares for sale. 

It will be up to you to set your prices and collect money for the items you are selling. The Guild will not be responsible for this.  When you sign-up to attend the event below, there will be a spot for you to tell us what you plan to bring and offer for sale.  As you plan for this, be considerate of space. We'll likely have one or two tables for this - not a booth setup - so plan accordingly.  

 Location and Event Details

Guild Member Whitney Klein's family has again generously offered us the use of their house in Chatsworth for this event on Saturday, November 15th from 11 am to 3 pm.  We'll be inside with the AC running if it's a hot day!  Plus, we'll be able to enjoy their outdoor patio for lunch, just like we did last time!  The house address is 22217 Romar Street, Chatsworth, CA 91311.  There is plenty of street parking for everyone too. 
This event will run from 11 am to 3 pm and will include a light lunch including sandwiches, drinks and something sweet at the end.  We need to know how many will be attending to order enough food so please RSVP as soon as possible.  Please let us know if you have any food allergies or dietary requirements that we need to be aware of when ordering lunch.  Send us an email to [email protected] with those details.  

The cost to attend the WIPs & Chains Stash Exchange is $15 per person and this is to cover lunch.  This is a members only event, so your membership dues do need to be up-to-date.  If you want to bring a friend, we ask that they also join the guild.
