Tonight the Knerdy Knitters met at their regularly scheduled Yarn Club night with a special mission... Making TONS of yarn flowers for an upcoming Yarn Bomb project. Thank you to everyone who has made flowers and icord for us.

If you'd like to be involved with our flower making project, we would love your help. Please make as many flowers as you'd like in any color combination that you'd like. They can be knit or crocheted. Each flower should be about four inches in diameter. Flowers can be delivered to any Knerdy Knitter member. For more info, please email us at [email protected].

The Knerdy Knitters were invited again this year to hang out in the Knitting Lounge of the DIY building. We modeled our beautiful knitting and crocheting skills for the general public and taught a few passers by some new skills. Thank you to all of our members who made the trek to the Fairgrounds. 

But in even BIGGER NEWS.... many members of the Knerdy Knitters entered their finished projects into the LA County Fair DIY Competition and won many, many ribbons! Congrats to everyone on your accomplishments. Yay for us!!!
