We had a great time on August 4th at Twist - Yarns of Intrigue. The Knerdy Knitters invaded this gorgeous Manhattan Beach store on one of Twist's rare (once a month) open Sundays. This store is gorgeous and welcoming. The staff is helpful. The yarn selection (especially the Malabrigo) is....overwhelming.

In this area of the store is a knitting library, table and chairs, and a tea service area with hot teas and all the fixins'. This table had a "Yarn Bar" on it so we could sample the many extraordinary yarns that Twist had to offer. Many of them were exclusive hand dyed yarns made especially for Twist.

This is the lounge area. We really did not want to go home.

Sarah and Stacie made their way to Dodger stadium July 26th with other Los Angeles area knitters to celebrate this year's "Stitch and Pitch."

The turnout was great and our section of seats was filled with knitters from all around Los Angeles. It was so much fun to sit and knit in the legendary stadium that we almost forgot the Dodgers were playing. (Dodgers Won!!!)

We got some great ideas about how we can make this event even better for the Knerdy Knitters next year.
