Building in Color 2014-2015 Knit-a-long
Join Stacie, Tammy and Sarah in a year long Building in Color blanket KAL.
The project will start July 2014 and they will spend the next year working on a panel a month and then spend 2 months putting it together.
Here is the order to work on the blanket:
July 2014 - Panel #1 Intarsia
August 2014 - Panel #2 Double Ended Knitting
September 2014 - Panel #3 Short Rows
October 2014 - Panel #4 Knit Below
November 2014 - Panel #5 Make One Purl
December 2014 - Panel #6 Elongated Stitch
January 2015 - Panel #7 Mosaic
February 2015 - Panel #8 Butterfly Stitch
March 2015 - Panel #9 Intarsia Cable
April 2015 - Panel #10 Tuck Stitch
May 2015 - Blocking the Panels/Vertical Seams
June 2015 - Borders
You will need the book Building in Color by Michelle Hunter and enough DK weight yarn in 3 different colors to make this project. The project calls for Simplicity yarn by Hikoo and it is 117 yards each skein. You will need 8 skeins of each of the 3 colors.
Even if you don't start right in July, you can still join in and catch up on the panels.
They would love to have you join them for the Building in Color KAL!
